Sure, some could see her as a little strange, but those comments aren't the ones that get her down. She's learned through the years that a stubborn way of thinking gets one far, and its certainly what's gotten her to this point. Seattle believes what she believes, and that's about it. Nothing that anybody else says can really take a toll on her as she doesn't allow the words of others to influence her too much. What she says goes, what you say is taken in for slight consideration. Of course, when you start to dog her personally, it can bother her. She is human after all. Her temper can occasionally flare up, and she can be vicious when she sees fit. She has a weird view on life, and her opinions can cause others to be wary of her. It's just a Seattle thing, though. She's not average in the slightest definition of the word. Seattle would probably bother with manners and kindness if people paid the same courtesy to her, but they rarely do. The city, as much as she loves it, can be rude, and so she's adapted to it, becoming just as strange and obnoxious as it. Admittedly, there are moments where she's mistaken for being male because it's a rare moment when she's acting feminine. But to that, Seattle says 'to hell with gender stereotypes.' In fact, Seattle has a lot of things to say about quite a few different things. Your favorite song, your taste in clothing, your political views- even the name of your pet can be analyzed from head to to. She has barely any concept of what a mind to mouth filter is, so be prepared to have her say something at least mildly offensive to you. It's just a Seattle thing. HISTORY: Seattle Park is not actually Seattle Park. In fact, her birth name is Park Heesok. She was born in Seoul, South Korea to a large family, marking herself down as the third child in what would line up to eventually be four children to two parents. Young, and unaware of the strange ways by which everything operated, Seattle was a fairly normal little girl doted upon by the rest of her family. At the age of eight, she, along with the rest of her family, made the startling switch to America, residing in Los Angeles, California upon arrival. An occupational technicality, as her father would later explain it. With two adults hardly fluent in the English language, and four children just as unaware as they were, the adaptation wasn't exactly easy. Years passed though, and Heesok along with her siblings managed to learn their words. Their parents struggled at their older age, but they managed enough, with their children doing most of the talking. "I thought your name was He Sock?" "It was Heesok, but now it's Seattle." The name was adopted via a desperate wanting to move to Seattle, Washington. If she couldn't live there, then the least that she could do was go by the city's name. The name change was part one to a violent change in Seattle. No longer a little girl to be doted upon, she switched from traditional... everything, to strange. Her parents certainly weren't amused by the change, but they seemed to be too confused to react properly, instead sighing in frustration every time Seattle was caught spouting off strange ideas and thoughts. By the time she was eighteen and planning her move to New York City, she was a new girl. Being a communications major, she was allowed the joy of starting her own radio station. A wonderful selection of Korean Pop, Alternative music, and strange rantings from a strange girl. your name/alias: cait. your age: seventeen. country/time zone: usa / central standard time. face claim: park yong hee how you found us: B) |
