[style=width:355px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10px; color: 000000; padding: 2px;]Between school work and being a radio host, Seattle typically didn't do much. Either because both items were time consuming enough not to leave her any leeway in her daily schedule, or perhaps it was simply because she had nothing else to do, nor did she want anything else to do. Seattle, as obnoxious and strange as she was, was a simple girl with simple tastes. But as luck would have it, summer had finally dawned on her, and the majority of the NYU student body. Free time was available in abundance, and she could only take so much of spending that time on conspiracy forums and k-pop fan blogs.
In an act of desperation for human contact, she had gotten in touch with the first person who came to mind. Texting them in a hurry to let them know the time and place, she also warned Carson to prepare herself for Chinese food. So, Seattle found herself putting on clothes appropriate for going 'out on the town.' She dug for change in the couches, just to make sure she had enough money to cover herself, and searched through dirty laundry for her car keys after getting halfway down the hall and realizing she wouldn't be walking all of the way to Chinatown.
She drove, slowly, tapping her fingers to the beat of the music pumping through her speakers, singing along on some occasions, and even taking the time to wave at a few unsuspecting pedestrians. She quit with that though once she was on the receiving end of a middle finger. Fifteen minutes had passed before she found herself pulling up to a familiar Chinese food restaurant. Tables for two lined up the sidewalk right outside of it, and a keen eye from Seattle spotted Carson already sat down at one of the tables. Because in a friendship as peculiar as theirs, Seattle was the late one.
She exited the car, which was parked across the street from everything, and as soon as she did the smell of food immediately warmed her nostrils. Smiling, she made her way towards Carson. "Sorry I'm late, yeah?" She smiled before sitting across from her friend. "People in New York are angry." Acting as if this was her excuse, Seattle leaned back in her seat, tilting backwards with her legs crossed and her arms folded in her lap. "How've you been, Carson?"
