ut Proboards is upgrading to PBv5, which means that things are going to most likely become difficult and confusing to deal with. Changing forum locations are going to help us be a little more flexible with how we do things on the site. And Proboard's errors will become a thing of the past, which is a really nice though. B)
I've talked with Romeo, and I've done some thinking, and we both think that it's time to pack up our things and make a change to either Invisionfree or Jcink. The switch might be sudden, but that doesn't make it impossible or difficult. In fact, if done correctly, this switch should be fairly easy. Plenty of sites are converting to Jcink because of several problems had with Proboards lately.
Currently, I'm leaning much more towards making the switch to Invisionfree because I'm much more comfortable with handling IF, but I am looking more into Jcink as our new ~home~, since the reviews for Jcink are really good.
So, guys, any thoughts or suggestions? The floor is open for you guys to tell us what you might think.
edit: i would like to pitch in that any switching won't be happening for a while. also for the time being, templates have started working again, so we'll see how long this lasts. And now that the enhanced coding has stopped being really dumb for now, we won't have to rush switching.

I would really hate to move, but I understand the reasons for considering it.

I honestly love jcink. All my recent RPGs have been based on jcink, and I find it very user friendly, but I'm not sure how it worked from a main admin/coding perspective. The one game I am staff on, I handle very little with the admin CP. What I've done with it though has been straight forward enough.
Moving kind of sucks in general but, it might be easier to manage coding.

I am a fan of IF myself. I've used it for a ton of sites and find it to be the best(second back in the IPBfree days but we all remember them going poofers)

Let's see. In my 10+ years of role playing, I've been on neopets, avidgamers, notebooks at school (my personal favorite), proboards, invisionfree, and some other weird sites that I don't even remember. I think I'll survive a switch wherever you want to go.

I don't mind the idea of moving, especially if it makes things a lot easier for you guys. But keep us updated! I'd love to follow you to the new site ^^
